This is a twin pedal of the DW9000, a long-selling model from DW. Judging from the shape of the clamps, etc., I believe it's the model just before the current one. However, the feel of operation is almost unchanged, and it's a top-of-the-line foot pedal with precise, unwavering action and a light feel. By changing the shaft to Pearl's z-link, the power transmission from the slave side becomes even smoother. This is a setup favored by famous drummers. The original DW beaters are too heavy and diminish the qualities of the DW9000, so they have been replaced with Pearl's Control Core Duo Beaters.
