Pure silk A furisode with a chrysanthemum pattern on cloud-patterned rinzu silk. Cream-colored with scattered orange, yellow, and green chrysanthemums, and a flowing red shibori (tie-dye) design at the hem. The lining (hakake) is orange. This is my mother's furisode from the Showa 40s (1965-1974). I've started going through things at my parents' house. It's old, so there are some stains here and there.
