While maintaining the basic features of the original Duellist, version 1.2 has evolved with convenient changes for pedalboard construction and new features. The IN/OUT jacks have been changed from the sides to the top, and DC power now supports 9-18V, expanding the headroom. By setting the internal mode switch to SPLIT and using a TRS cable, you can change the order of A and B, connect other pedals between A and B, and switch between A/B with a switcher. It can be connected and controlled in the LOOP of a switcher as two independent pedals with IN/OUT on both sides. DRIVE-A is a sound based on the manufacturer's vintage TS808. Every setting from clean to overdrive is amazing. The FAT/STOCK/GLASS switch allows for further tone expansion. FAT: Expands the low end, creating the tone of a driven tube amp. GLASS: Adds a bright, glass-like top end to the tone. Perfect for bright SRV-style passages. (STOCK is the default) It also features an internal switch for symmetrical/asymmetrical clipping modes. Similar to the clipping of a power amp and preamp. The internal switch for warm vintage softens the high frequencies in conjunction with the GLASS switch. DRIVE-B is a sound based on a vintage Blues Breaker. It has mid-high frequencies and a full-range tone, allowing for a wide range of drive control. It can be used as a clean boost to full drive. Furthermore, an internal dip switch allows for the addition of a distortion circuit to DRIVE-B. And, like DRIVE-A, it also features internal switches for symmetrical/asymmetrical clipping modes and FAT/STOCK/GLASS switches. 4@8@3
