This is a very well-preserved Ichimatsu doll made by the renowned Kyoto doll maker, Shuzan Kawashima, known for his excellent craftsmanship. The doll has a gentle and serene face, with a slight amount of soiling, but still possesses beautiful and lustrous skin. The colorful, vibrant floral kimono shows signs of wear due to age. The tabi (socks) also have some soiling. One hand is wrapped in protective paper, so there is no image available. The doll has a generous amount of silk hair. The bellows (for crying) does not work.
