Unused strings removed from a brand new, high-quality Chinese-made wooden bass (contrabass). This listing is for three sets of 4-string sets. The Chinese manufacturer exports the basses with these strings attached, but they are removed unused after being imported to Japan, as the instruments are restrung with different strings. (Purchased from an acquaintance involved in this process) Recently, Chinese-made strings are gaining global recognition, and these strings also seem to be of high quality despite their low price. I actually use these strings on my own wooden bass, and they produce a very bright and clear sound without being muffled or muddy. Also, they have sufficient sustain, allowing for effective glissandos with a satisfying "vwooo" sound, making playing enjoyable. These strings can be used not only on wooden basses but also on upright basses and silent basses. Although unused, they were once strung on a bass, so the product condition is listed as "no noticeable scratches or stains." Shipping will be on days other than Tuesdays and Thursdays.
