This flute is tuned to 442Hz equal temperament and produces a very accurate do-re-mi scale, similar to a flute. The mouthpiece is slightly smaller than a typical shinobue flute, making it easier for women to play, and it produces beautiful tones from the first octave's Do to the third octave's Mi. After trying it out, I ended up using flutes of a different key and have kept this one in storage, so I would be happy if someone could use it.
