I made a very large shoulder tote bag from checked linen. It can be worn over the shoulder. I added a small outer pocket and a camel-colored leather tag. The checked linen fabric is from Check & Stripe, and it's a high-quality 100% linen fabric. The lining is made of natural-colored #10 canvas fabric, giving the bag a sturdy feel. It has two pockets. The handles are made from the same checked linen fabric with interfacing applied, and are securely attached with three-needle stitching. It's a shoulder-carry type. I made the handles long enough to easily carry over a coat. It can hold a lot and feels sturdy, so it can be used for various purposes, such as a mom bag or a lesson bag.
