Sold at Ishibashi Music Ikebukuro store in May 2024, it is a beautiful item with no noticeable scratches and almost no dullness on the metal parts. Comes with a lightweight genuine hard case. It has been used very little, and the frets appear to have at least 90% remaining. The satin-finished neck has a smooth feel and a beautiful quarter-sawn grain. As an American Professional II, it has been updated from the original American Professional, with modern staggered tuners and neck joint. The bridge material has also been improved. It's great that they incorporate user feedback in these subtle ways. The arm is a pop-in type that is easy to attach and detach, and the torque adjustment function that allows you to fix it at any position is convenient. The push-push switch allows you to turn on the front pickup, producing mixed tones like a Telecaster or Jazzmaster. This makes it easier to adapt to modern cutting and arpeggio sounds used in recent J-Pop. The push-push switch is much easier to operate than a pull switch. (These various improvements reflect the high degree of completion of the well-thought-out product concept of the American Professional.) The strings were recently replaced with an Elixir Optiweb 09 set. Although it doesn't affect usability much, the string that holds the hard case lid has come unglued. (See photo) As this is a used instrument, it is not eligible for return unless there is a fatal defect as a guitar, such as no sound at all.
