I opened it once and displayed it. No protective film. There are traces of alcohol disinfection, so the overall condition is listed as poor. I don't think there's a problem with displaying it, but please refrain from purchasing if you are concerned about the condition. There are other minor scratches, etc. No holds. Immediate purchase is OK.
