The hulls are pre-painted. Aircraft are also included. The breakdown is: Nakajima B6N Tenzan (Jill) x9 Yokosuka D4Y Suisei (Judy) x12 Mitsubishi A7M Reppu (Sam) x3 Mitsubishi A6M Zero Type 52 x12 Shōkaku is painted as she appeared during the Battle of the Philippine Sea in June 1944. Zuikaku is painted as she appeared during the Battle of Cape Engaño in October 1944. The masts are fixed in the state of aircraft launching.
