This is the bass drum head for the Pearl Compact Traveler compact drum set. I hit it with a kick pedal only once after purchasing it. There is a visible mark, though it's hard to see. It has a mute on the back, and it produces a surprisingly good sound for a bass drum. Please refer to video sites like YouTube for more details on the sound quality.
