(From Tower Records product information) A 1972 TV live performance in Paris by Lou Reed, Nico, John Cale, and other former members of The Velvet Underground. This performance was part of a project by a French TV station and features the three members, who had not appeared together since the band's breakup, performing on January 29, 1972, at Le Bataclan in Paris. Lou sings "Berlin," which is also included on his 1972 solo album "Transformer," and "Heroin" and "Waiting For A Man" from The Velvet Underground's 1967 album "The Velvet Underground and Nico." Nico and John also perform vocals on "Femme Fatale" and "Ghost Story," respectively. This video work conveys the intense and tense relationship of the three individuals, each with their own strong personalities, which was certainly not a peaceful one.
