This is a set of Hifu (vest) for a 3-year-old boy's Shichi-Go-San (a traditional Japanese festival for children aged three, five, and seven). The set features a traditional one-piece kimono with a black and white geometric pattern, paired with a handmade, adorable Hifu with shibori (tie-dye). The kimono is a beautiful semi-antique classic kimono with a lovely pattern of pine trees and waves. The sleeves of the kimono have been rounded off, as is done for Omiyamairi (a visit to the shrine for a newborn). The shoulders have not been adjusted. Please adjust the size to fit the child. The koshiage (hem at the waist) has been done. There is a slight stain on the string. Please check the image. I think it's in good enough condition for wear. The Hifu is a cute Hifu remade from a new, light green silk crepe haori (outer garment) made of silk. The length is 58 cm, which is the antique specification. The length can be adjusted with miage (hem at the bottom) etc. It is a beautiful item with no noticeable defects. The Juban (undershirt) is polyester, a recycled beautiful item.
