This bag is made using Japanese tatami edging (heri) from Kurashiki City, Okayama Prefecture. The heri used in Japanese tatami mats is strong and resistant to abrasion. When used as a material for bags, it results in a crisp finish and is also very lightweight. The easy-to-use, boat-shaped tote bag has a wide opening and a sturdy gusset, making it a simple design that allows you to easily put in your belongings. The main material is tatami heri woven with a black diamond pattern. The bag's surface combines monochrome checkered tatami heri, and features a zippered pocket approximately 18 cm wide. This is convenient for quickly taking out items like your smartphone or keys. D-rings are attached on both sides, allowing you to use the bag in a 2-way style with the included tatami heri shoulder strap. The handles are made of matte black heri, and it has a magnetic closure and an inner pocket. Each item is carefully crafted, but there may be slight variations in measurements and sewing.
