The "A-Un no Tora" (Guardian Tiger) amulet, offered at Kurama-dera Temple on Mount Kurama in Kyoto. It is only given out during the New Year and is a lucky charm to pray for good fortune in the coming year. It is called a Komatora (guardian tiger) and is believed to ward off evil and provide protection. -- While it still looks relatively good, it is quite old, so it is being sold with some scratches and stains.
