This is a natsume (tea caddy) made by Ichicho. Size: Diameter: Approximately 8.6 cm Height: Approximately 6.8 cm It has been stored for a long time but is clean with no signs of use. There are no noticeable damages. This is a wonderful natsume with maki-e (sprinkled picture) and raden (mother-of-pearl inlay) of a fence and butterflies dancing around it. A crescent moon is depicted on the inside of the lid. The inscription "Ichicho Saku" (Made by Ichicho) is carved on the bottom of the natsume.
