This is a 1963 J-50. A 62-year-old vintage guitar. The plastic bridge, unique to this era, has no cracks. The ceramic saddle is original. The screws have been replaced with replicas. The frets have been replaced. The nut has also been replaced. Currently, a pickup is installed, making it ready for live performances. The body has dents and weather checking appropriate for its age, but this does not affect the sound. It produces the mellow sound characteristic of plastic bridges from this period. I've owned it for nearly 30 years, but it's been played less frequently, so I'd like to sell it at a lower price to someone who will play it more.
