Size: 36 x 42 cm This is a handmade item made as a hobby. I've done sashiko stitching on sheeting fabric, and I think it can be used as a placemat or tea towel. It has patterns that can be enjoyed on both sides. The thread ends are secured with knots. To prevent the thread ends from showing on the back (photos 4 and 5), the edges of the cloth are sewn with a slip stitch, and the knotted areas and fraying are finished neatly. The fabric has been washed once to remove the markings from the initial design. Please refrain from purchasing if you are looking for the perfection of a mass-produced product, as this is handmade.
