This is an unused, recycled item. It has a gentle, soft feel. The obi (sash) that wraps around the waist is a free size that you wrap around. You create the otaiko (drum) knot with Velcro. The otaiko part can be extended for storage, so there are no creases in the obi's crest. It can be stored in a tatou-gami (storage paper). ◎Regarding the Obi Makura (Obi Pillow) Base Since two-piece obis without fasteners tend to slip down, using the separately sold obi makura base will prevent the obi from slipping down, providing peace of mind.
