I remade a furisode (long-sleeved kimono) I bought at a recycle shop. It has a calm, deep navy color with a touch of elegance. The lining of the long bag is made from the fabric of a nagajuban (long undergarment) I purchased as a bolt of cloth. The lining of the body bag is the lining of the same kimono. The photo shows a Tsugaru shamisen placed inside. The shamisen is not included. Materials: Outer fabric: silk (furisode) Lining: long bag - silk body bag - unknown This is handmade by an amateur. Please be aware of this. Below are my personal thoughts... The shamisen's sound gets muffled when it's not played for a while, but I feel like it gives a good sound the more you play it. However, I feel like storing it in a silk long bag and body bag allows it to produce a good sound from the first strike. (*^^*)
