There is some wear and tear, but no broken ribs or tears. I have two folding umbrellas, and I used this one carefully for short outings. I lost the original storage bag, so I used it with a different umbrella bag. The colors are black and purplish gray. I think the colors are as shown in the first and second photos. It's a bit smaller than a regular folding umbrella. It has a stylish textile design, so I recommend it. However, it is not new, so please purchase it if you understand that it is a used item and are satisfied with the images.
