Tsugaru-nuri has traditional craft techniques such as Kara-nuri, Nanako-nuri, Monsha-nuri, and Nishiki-nuri. When these were purchased, the Tsugaru-nuri artisans were "family-transmitted" in their respective painting styles. In the past, when the Mito Komon series on TV wanted to start a season with a story from Aomori Prefecture and asked to introduce a Tsugaru-nuri workshop, they were told that because Tsugaru-nuri is "family-transmitted, one-child transmission," they should go through the Tsugaru-nuri association, and this was conveyed to the TV station. As such, Tsugaru-nuri is still a lacquerware that is carefully protected by artisans and workshops. Those who are sensitive to lacquer may occasionally worry about lacquer rash when purchasing new items, but since these have been stored in a home storehouse for a long time, I believe there is no concern about lacquer rash. 【Condition of the item】 Long-term home storage, new and unused.
