The handles are designed to be used both over the shoulder and by hand, making it versatile for various amounts of luggage and situations. The sturdy material allows it to stand on its own, and it's also recommended as a mother's bag. I purchased it a few years ago from an EC site and used it about once a month. The shorter handle was very convenient for hanging on a stroller. There is one faint brown stain on the outside (photo 9), and there is some wear and tear on the inside, with brown stains and black scuff marks (photo 10).
