The inscription has been removed from this item. There are no issues with the sword itself. Made entirely by hand using Yasuki Hagane No. 2 steel. The carved areas have a luster. The appearance is significantly better than works carved with a dull sword. "Black blade" refers to the hilt and the unsharpened blade only.
