[Overview] This unit is a Pioneer CDJ-1000mk3, one of the club's standard models. Compared to typical used items, this unit has been cleaned and had parts replaced for preventative maintenance. The mk3 is rare because fewer people sell them, making it a more sought-after CDJ than the 1000/mk2. [Why We Recommend It] This is a standard piece of equipment that's expected in a DJ booth. If you get used to this CDJ, you should be able to DJ without any problems on the latest CDJs. After maintenance, I mixed for about an hour using CD-Rs. I was able to use it comfortably without any problems. The touch-sensitive Vinyl mode (actually, a slight push) is also convenient. While not many people do serious scratching on this equipment, Pioneer's time stretch sounds good, so you can confidently produce scratch sounds. The touch-sensitive parts of the CDJ-1000mk3 often wear out, but this unit is almost as good as new. The CD read error rate has been measured and is judged as OK with plenty of margin (with used CDJs, even if they work, they may be judged as NG, and those CDJs are nearing the end of their lifespan). CD-R/RW discs can also be played (however, they may not play correctly depending on the disc characteristics, scratches, etc.) MP3 files can also be played. [Maintenance] ・Replaced 7 frequently used panel buttons with new ones (PLAY/STOP, CUE, track search +-, fast forward/rewind, loop) ・Removed and cleaned the keytops of all switches ・Cleaned the interior and exterior / greased ・Pitch control 0% center adjusted ・CD read error rate measured (OK even with considerably scratched CD-Rs) [Appearance] Generally in average used condition. One point: the tabs on the top of the unit that are secured with screws are broken. It's not in a place that's usually visible, and there's no looseness, but please refrain from purchasing if you are concerned. Please see the images for details.
