These reeds are made from high-quality reeds from Udono, carefully selected and dried in the shade for about 1.5 to 2 years. These reeds are finished with great care, allowing for comfortable playing. They are generally sized to fit any hichiriki, including plastic ones. If you have a preference, I can also accommodate requests for thicker or thinner reeds, so please let me know when ordering. While I finish the reeds so that even beginners and women can easily play them, please understand that they will not sound with a light or weak breath.
