Unbelievable now, but when it was released in the US, Capitol Records edited the album's tracks, releasing it with fewer songs and a different track order than the UK version. Since the master tapes themselves were edited in America, the mixes were also subtly changed, making it fun to compare the two. The condition is listed as "some scratches and dirt," but it's a record that's been around for about half a century, and I think it's in relatively good condition for its age. Unusually for a record of this age, there is no warping on the disc, and there were no skips when played on a portable record player. Both the disc surface and grooves are clean, with good sound pressure, and I was able to listen to it with a good analog sound. From the next album, "Revolver," the band began to take the lead in the recording process, making this album a transitional work in the early stages of recording. The guitars used by the members also changed significantly in "Revolver," with the Epiphone Casino becoming almost the standard for rock guitar sounds, but this album allows you to enjoy the thick, soft sound unique to analog, which is an extension of the band's early sound with guitars like Gretsch and Rickenbacker.
