Suitable for wear from spring to autumn, and especially comfortable in midsummer due to the hemp material. These pants are designed to be quite cool, even among Patagonia's pants. The waist is elastic and stretches, with a drawstring for adjustment. There are four pockets (right, left, right back, left back), and only the left back pocket has a button. I have taken good care of them, so there are no noticeable scratches or stains, but there is a 7mm black streak on the front of the right thigh (see the last photo).
