Thank you for viewing! This is a clasp-style mini shoulder bag made by patching together scraps of black Meisen fabric. The clasp hardware and fasteners are also stylish. It's a size that can hold small items like a smartphone, handkerchief, keychain, card case, and a paperback book. Meisen is a silk fabric used in kimonos that were popular in the Taisho and early Showa periods. How about a small bag made of Meisen, which has stylish colors and patterns and a beautiful sheen? Adhesive interfacing and quilt batting are applied to the patched fabric, and the seams are stitched with a sewing machine. It has a moderate thickness and is sturdy, even though it's a mini shoulder bag. The lining uses Edward fabric, a glossy and sturdy fabric often used for bag linings (black with polka dots). There is a pocket inside that can hold a card case or a keychain. The belt uses a thick black cotton fabric.
