I purchased this at UNIQLO and have been storing it after my child outgrew it. The fabric is a moderate thickness, so I think it can be worn even during this time of year when it's getting warmer. It's 100% cotton, so it's gentle on the skin. The elastic in the waist is not stretched out. I do not have any pets. This is a used item as it has been worn, but please consider purchasing if you don't mind.
