Thank you for viewing. This is a pair of yellow Maneki Neko (beckoning cat) figurines that I received from an acquaintance some time ago. They have a tiger-stripe-like design and a cute atmosphere. There is a "Kutani" (九谷) stamp on the bottom, so I believe they are Kutani-yaki (九谷焼) ware, but I haven't been able to identify the workshop or artist. I have also included a photo of the bottom stamp, so please take a look. The one with its right paw raised is said to beckon good fortune and prosperity in business, while the one with its left paw raised beckons customers and connections, bringing in a crowd of people.
