[8] Shape: Natural Inkstone ◉ About the Work Made from Yokokawa Gorge Ryukei stone from Tatsuno, Nagano Prefecture, this inkstone is made from a black mica clay plate, allowing for the creation of fine, detailed ink. Especially, Nabekura Ryukei stone is said to be the best stone. This work clearly displays the stone pattern of Ryukei stone, with an S-shape meandering from the top like the sea to the bottom of the hill. The edges are smooth and flat, and the inner corners of the edges are sharply processed, so that when you touch them with your fingertips, they feel like they could cut you, demonstrating the skill of the artisan. Also, the sides of the inkstone have been left rough as they were when cut out, and the characteristic dark brown color of Ryukei stone appears on the lower left and right sides of the inkstone, making it unique. ⭕️ It has a beautiful appearance and a convenient size, and furthermore, it is in new, beautiful condition, making it a work preferred by women.
