This is a pierced decorative plate from the "Country Garden" collection by Bing & Grøndahl (B&G) of Denmark. Made in 1986. The edge of the plate features a pierced decoration. A vibrant painting of flowers is depicted in the center. The artist's signature, "L.E. THOMPSON," is on the bottom of the plate. This series features monthly flowers as motifs and is characterized by the pierced edging (pierced garden) as seen in the image. This plate represents the month of July. This plate is now discontinued and is considered a rare item. It is a limited edition of 12,500 pieces, and this plate is number 016. After purchasing it, I enjoyed displaying it on the wall, but I am unfortunately letting it go due to a change in decor. *The wire I made to hang it on the wall in the photo can be easily removed. I believe it is in good condition, but it is a used item, so please refrain from purchasing if you are concerned. There are no accessories such as a box.
