About "CHROMEXCEL" leather
This is leather for boot uppers manufactured by Horween, a company founded in Chicago, USA in 1905.
Using a method that has remained unchanged for over 90 years, the leather is infused with a specially blended oil over time, resulting in a supple, heavy, and durable leather.
Also, the generous oil content allows you to enjoy the color change caused by pull-up, which is one of the charms of this leather. (*Black does not change color)
Because the leather is dyed only on the surface (= not dyed on the base), it is also known as "brown core leather".
