This is a Hakata obi (half-width obi) with a "kenjo" (offering) pattern. It shows signs of use such as wrinkles, but there are no noticeable scratches or stains, so I believe it is perfectly usable. One side features the kenjo pattern on a vermilion background, and the other side is solid vermilion.
