It's well-made and recommended for telephoto lenses. I only attached it once to test it out after purchasing it, but I felt that the lever-release type wasn't for me, so I stored it without using it. There is almost no wear on the moving parts of the lever. It is in near-new condition, but it is a used item, so please refrain from purchasing if you are looking for a perfect condition or are overly concerned about details.
