Of course, they are handcrafted and hand-painted by artisans. While Horse Eye is known for its Seto-yaki origins, it was produced in kilns across the country until the early Showa period. It requires skilled techniques to quickly and dynamically paint, so it is rarely made now. Today, Horse Eye is a valuable and very popular design.
