This is a special dip net (tamo-ami) for catching glass eels (shirasu-unagi). The stainless steel frame has an angled opening at the tip, and it's a square, bowl-shaped, moderately deep dip net. The approximate size of the dip net is: 18cm (length, including the diagonal part) x 16cm (width), with a depth of 6-7cm. It's a square, bowl-shaped design. The net uses 24-mesh netting with a wire diameter of 0.20, and the net is secured with stainless steel wire before the adhesive is applied.
