Suizan Kiln started as a Nabeshima clan's purveyor in the Edo period, and while preserving tradition, they incorporate a modern sensibility. This Nabeshima Karakusa (Chinese-style arabesque) design has been a long-selling product, with the blue arabesque and red flowers creating a striking piece. The original box was quite damaged, so it will be shipped in a different box. The box in the photos has nothing to do with the shipping box.
