Founded in the Edo period, the company closed in the mid-Heisei era, making this ink currently difficult to obtain. It has a graceful oval shape with a relief of a Bodhi tree flower. Many old inks from Keirindo are marked "Keirindo Kansei" (Made under the supervision of Keirindo), but this one is marked "Shimano Yuzan Chin'en."
