In the Showa era, a motor and foot pedal were added to make it electric. I used it from after my marriage until last year. I made things for my children's school, my niece, cushion covers, curtains, kotatsu covers, and even masks (≧▽≦) ○ I think the dial adjusts the stitch width. ○ The plate to add width is the type that is inserted sideways. ○ I never put the foot pedal in the side pocket; I used it to store things I needed right away, like pins, sewing thread, and scissors. ○ It's heavy overall, about 15kg. The case has some stains due to age. Includes the metal fittings. ○ You can wind the thread by setting the bobbin on the upper right side of the front. You can also adjust the speed by stepping on the foot pedal at your own pace ♫ ○ It can only do straight stitches and reverse stitches. You can do reverse stitches by pressing the spot in the photo, which allows you to finish the thread. I found it easier than using my hands because I could control the timing subtly with my foot ♫ Since there was no instruction manual, I used it without worry, as my mother taught me how to use it^^; Sometimes the needle would break ← either the needle or the part that holds the needle would loosen?
