Katsuobushi (dried bonito) shaver purchased from Tomaru Suisan. Compact, storable type. Features "Kamo Paulownia" wood, "Niigata Sanjo-made plane blade," and a plane bed made of "domestic white oak." Includes two instruction sheets. It hasn't been used much, so there are no noticeable scratches or stains, but upon close inspection, there are some indentations on the box. Also, it appears that katsuobushi powder, which couldn't be completely removed with a brush, is stuck in the gaps of the box. (See images 5 and 6). It has not been washed with water, only brushed.
