Kasen's Work It might not be apparent from the photos, but this is a large chawanmushi (steamed egg custard) bowl. When listing it, I wasn't sure how to categorize it, so I looked it up online. The size is similar to a kashiwan (sweets bowl), but the lid shape is different. I think it's a rare and unusual piece of tableware. Size: Diameter 11cm, Height 6cm Plate: Diameter 15cm
