Only volume 1 is a reprint, while the other 9 are first editions. A carefully selected set from my collection of several Monster Kid sets. The covers have minor damage: a small tear at the top of the spine of volumes 5 and 6, and slight fading on the spine of volume 9. The bodies of the books show age-related yellowing and staining on the edges. Both the covers and the bodies have only minor damage, and it's no exaggeration to say that this Monster Kid set is almost entirely undamaged, a truly unprecedented find. Even if you collect them one by one, they rarely appear on the market, requiring years of effort and a considerable amount of money. Even after the struggle to collect a complete set of Monster Kid, you're unlikely to get a perfect set with just one, leaving collectors with the thorny choice of settling for a lower-quality set or spending more money to aim higher. This selected set can be a savior for those who find the complete Monster Kid set to be poor value in terms of both cost and time, unless you enjoy the collecting process. Volume 1 is a reprint, with a mix of first and reprint editions, but I will include a first edition of volume 1 as a bonus for those who are interested in purchasing.
