This is a kendo bogu (tare - groin protector) with machine stitching. While the leather has some color fading, there is little damage, and it has been cleaned, so you can use it immediately. There is a small tear in the fabric on the back of the kodare (small flaps), and the cords also have some fraying. The parts that are visible when worn are quite clean. This is a high-grade model made of navy blue leather, so it is also recommended for special occasions.
