The original fabric, woven from two different materials – yarn made from Japanese paper, a traditional Japanese material, and nylon yarn – has a unique appearance due to the luster of the nylon yarn, the unevenness of the Japanese paper fibers, and the contrast of colors. The main material uses an original paper nylon cloth, plain-woven with Japanese paper yarn for the weft and nylon yarn for the warp. The inorganic luster of the nylon yarn complements the natural texture of the Japanese paper yarn, resulting in a soft yet elegant texture. The Japanese paper yarn (OJO+) is a hollow-core yarn made by cutting Manila hemp into long, thin strips, twisting them into yarn, and then using them to make paper. It is lighter than general cotton yarn, weighing less than half as much, and is also strong and elastic. In addition, this original fabric is bonded to reduce the overall weight of the bag.
