This is a kasuri fabric, but it's made from fabric intended for mounting and hanging scrolls. It's a fabric with backing, or perhaps you could say it has a core material adhered to the back. Because no lining was added, there are scratches on both bottom corners of the reverse side (Photos 5 & 6). There are no scratches on the front (Photos 7 & 8). Has an inner pocket. The handles and inner pocket feature a yukinko (snow child) pattern.
