This large plate is the kind used in delicatessens, "obanzai" restaurants (Kyoto-style home cooking), and small restaurants to serve food. Besides serving food, it can also be used for interior decoration. It can be used as a saucer for bonsai pots, or to group small potted plants together for a miniature garden effect. Also, wouldn't it make a cool bed for small dogs or cats in the summer? This item has been stored at my parents' house for a long time. Front side: There are a few scratches that are visible when held up to the light. They are not easily visible in the photos. Back side: There is some blackening on the foot rim. I believe there are no problems with its use. There is no original box. I plan to pack it with cushioning material and cardboard that I have at home. ★ I am also selling other large plates.
