The front is engraved with Western arabesque patterns, likely from the Victorian era. The rim has a raised edge with a pierced design. It has a substantial weight. There are no major scratches, dents, or deformations. There are minor scratches and some fine blackening that couldn't be completely polished away. It was quite discolored, so I polished it.
