It's difficult to make out the text on the surface, but this is a thinning shear with "E-ZEDGE THIRTY THINNER" written on the back. I believe it's an older thinning shear, and it's characterized by its bob-style shape and clicking sound. The cutting rate is around 25-30%, and the feel, sharpness, and release are quite good. I've sharpened it, so you should be able to use it right away, but if you're looking for a particular sharpness, please sharpen and adjust it yourself before use.
